Info
Sekumpul Waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Bali which is located
in the Singaraja area, northern part of Bali. As the name implies, Sekumpul
consists of waterfalls that gather seven. Of the seven waterfalls in this place,
only two are located close to the main road. While the other five waterfalls
you can visit with extra effort to reach the location.
The majority of local residents call Sekumpul as the Loading Waterfall, while
foreign tourists give the nickname Seven Points Waterfall. Another uniqueness
of Sekumpul Waterfall is the different color of the water during the rainy
season. Where one waterfall will remain clear, while the other tends to be
muddy (brown). This is because there are different sources of water,
including springs and rivers.
To get to the location of the waterfall, you have to go through from the entrance
counter and then walk for 300 meters on the trail. It does require a little
effort through the trekking terrain in the form of land to climb the stairs.
This trip is certainly very memorable, apart from witnessing the charm of
the Sekumpul waterfall, you can also enjoy the natural beauty of the shady
trees. Visitors will also get the rare opportunity to capture the 80-meter-high
Agung gorge from a distance.
The air is still cool and the area around the
waterfall is very clean. Photography lovers will not miss this opportunity
to take beautiful photos of Sekumpul or wefie with the family against the
backdrop of a waterfall. Those of you who come with your partner can also do
a pre-wedding photo session, because Sekumpul Buleleng Waterfall is famous
as a favorite location for taking pre-wedding pictures in Bali. The best
time to come here is between 09.00 to 15.00. The morning trip will be
more beautiful for trekking activities. If it rains, the road will be
slippery so you have to be extra careful crossing the path.
